How to get there

By Boat

Speed Boat From Bali

There are many fast boats running between Padang Bay, Bali to the Gili Islands. We recommend Ekajaya, as it is the safest, and most modern company. Usually boats are available 2 to 3 times a day.

Local Boat Lombok - Gili Air

Every morning smaller local boats run between Bangsal and Gili Air. until early afternnon. There is generally no fixed time table for this service. When the boat is full, is leaves the harbour.

Island Hopping Speed Boat

A smaller speed boat conncecrts the three islands Gili Air, Gili Meno, and Gili Trawangan with Bangsal/Lombok. They run on hourly basic until 4.00 pm.

Private Speed Boat

Lombok Airport is an international port with flights from Australia and other destinations. There also are flights available from Bali to Lombok, and other places within Indonesia.

Welcome to Rumah Tara

We are a young Indonesian-German family with a small daughter. We live on Gili Air for a few years and enjoy it a lot because of its pristine sand beaches, and the quiet environment. Last year we were able to build out little paradise, that we rent out to our guests.
